About Angelo

I relieve pain to help people do what they love

For nearly two decades, I’ve acquired and practiced a broad scope of techniques combining Western and Eastern approaches to wellness, enabling me to tailor bodywork to my clients’ individual needs. Partnering with my clients to improve their quality of life on all levels is one of the most important things that I do - from the very first appointment.

I’m passionate about helping people heal. I want to not just alleviate their stress and tension through therapeutic massage but help them to understand their bodies, assisting their abilities to operate optimally in a sport as well as daily living. I have found, in therapeutic massage, a way to support a person in becoming more aware of the connection between their physical, mental and emotional bodies. I combine my knowledge to best suit my clients’ needs, unique to their challenges as there is more than one path up the mountain.

I use an eclectic approach to bodywork where I integrate several massage and energy techniques to tailor a session. My many years in practice have given me insight into combining diversified modalities, effectively customizing my skills to improve my clients’ overall health and their quality of life.

I have been practicing full-time as a massage therapist since graduating from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Westport, CT in 2002. I am licensed in the states of Connecticut and New York, Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

I graduated in the top of my class and was awarded a certificate for Academic and Hands-On Excellence. My extensive training includes continuous learning and practice in Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Acupressure, CranioSacral Therapy, Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Massage and Jin Shin Jyutsu. My professional approach is to address the whole person, the physical condition as well as the emotional and energetic components of a client’s overall presentation.

Prior to becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, I spent fifteen years in the corporate world in the area of Financial Systems Management. I earned my Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
